INQUIRY – JOCKEY TEAQUE GOULD

The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held on 14 October 2022 at Fairview Racecourse, Jockey Teaque Gould was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that as the rider of MUR MUR, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to CARBONADO and CROWN PLAZA leaving the 50m in Race 8 at Fairview Racecourse on 7 October 2022. 

Jockey Gould pleaded guilty and was found guilty of the charge. 

The Inquiry Board after considering the mitigating factors presented, imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of seven (7) days. 

Jockey Gould waived his Right of Appeal and was granted permission to take his suspension from 19 October 2022 to 25 October 2022, both days inclusive.
