Miss Pippa Mickleburgh, a registered Colour Holder since 2008 and a registered Breeder since 1990, was appointed to the National Board of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa (“the NHA”), in terms of Clause 15.4.5.3 of the Constitution, on 12 September 2022.
Miss Mickleburgh has resigned as a National Director of the NHA, including from all Committees, with effect from 20 July 2025 as she will be taking up a position with Race Coast Western Cape and, in terms of Clause 15.5.3, is ineligible to serve on the National Board of the NHA.
Having been actively involved in the Horseracing Industry and having served on other Boards in the industry for a number of years, Miss Mickleburgh has been an absolute stalwart Director with valuable insights for the Board and on the Committees. I am immensely grateful for her service to the NHA and will miss her greatly.
The Board of Directors of the NHA thanks Miss Mickleburgh for her valuable contribution to the NHA during her tenure as a director and wishes her every success in her new position.
The Nominations Committee will be advised to commence the process for the appointment of a director to fill the vacancy.
