MEMORIAL MILE (Listed) 

ZINOVI had his official merit rating raised from 114 to 116 following his victory in the Listed Memorial Mile over 1600m at Fairview racecourse on Friday. 

The Handicappers used FIREALLEY, who finished fourth, as the line horse to assess this race, leaving him unchanged on 109. 

MR FOX was the only other runner to receive an increase, going up from 92 to 96. This adjustment ensure that he is rated higher than ROYALS, whom he beat here. 

Two horses received merit rating drops: 

• BINGWA was reduced slightly from 120 to 119.

• ROYALS dropped from 97 to 94.

JOCKEY CLUB STAKES (Listed) 

EPIKLEROS had her official merit rating raised from 87 to 97 following her victory in the Listed Jockey Club Stakes for fillies and mares over 2000m at Fairview racecourse on Friday. 

The Handicappers unanimously agreed to use the consistent HONORABLE MEMBER, who finished third, as the line horse, leaving her rating unchanged on 94. 

The runner-up, GREENLITEALLTHEWAY, was increased from 86 to 96 for finishing 1.25 lengths ahead of the 94-rated line horse at level weights. 

Three horses received merit rating drops: 

• LADY SILVANO went down from 105 to104
• FIRST WISH was reduced to 89 from 90

• LOTUS ISLAND dropped to 94 from 95
