The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 6 December 2021, Jockey Diego De Gouveia was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that whilst riding STAR ACT, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to AUNTY LIZZY (T Godden) leaving the 200m in Race 6 at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 28 November 2021. 


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry finalised in the Stipendiary Stewards Boardroom at Kenilworth Racecourse on 1 December 2021, Jockey G van Niekerk was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.5.  The particulars being that as the rider of EVERGLADES he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference when he shifted in and crossed GLOBAL GODDESS (A Domeyer) at the 400m in Race 4 at Kenilworth Racecourse on 16 November 2021. 


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 22 November 2021, Jockey Ashton Arries was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that whilst riding MASTER TOBE, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to CALGARY (T Godden) at the 1300m in Race 6 at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 8 November 2021.


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 17 November 2021, Apprentice Jockey Rachel Venniker was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that as the Rider of JACK’S BIRD she failed to ensure that she did not cause interference to CURVATION (S Khumalo) at the 1500m in Race 6 at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 7 November 2021. 


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 17 November 2021, Jockey Sean Veale was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that as the Rider of JACQUELINE, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to WINTERTIME (M V’Rensburg) at the 200m in Race 5 at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 10 November 2021.  

Jockey Veale pleaded guilty to and was found guilty of the charge. 


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 14 November 2021, Jockey Gareth Wright was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that whilst riding CONGO COMPAQ, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to DON’T TOUCH ME (M Yeni) in the concluding stages of Race 8 at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 8 November 2021. 


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 10 November 2021, Jockey Muzi Yeni was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that as the Rider of STAND BY ME (AUS), he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to ROCKET FIRE (S Khumalo) at the 300m in Race 7 at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 1  November 2021.  


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 7 November 2021, Jockey Athandiwe Mgudlwa was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that as the Rider of PAPILLION, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to RAINBOW UNICORN (M Yeni), LAUREL LANE (*T Gumede) and EMERALD ISLA (J Gates) at the 1900m, RAINBOW UNICORN (M Yeni) at the 200m and SPACE ODDITY (*K Strydom) in the concluding stages of Race 5 at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 27 October 2021. 


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an Inquiry held in the Stipendiary Stewards Boardroom at Kenilworth Racecourse on 5 November 2021, Jockey Aldo Domeyer was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7.  The particulars being that as the rider of DANCETILDAYLIGHT he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference and was a source of interference to runners on his inside at the 50m, when he shifted in continually from the 150m in Race 7 at Kenilworth Racecourse on 30 October 2021. 


The National Horseracing Authority confirms that at an inquiry held in Durban on 1 November 2021, Jockey S’manga Khumalo was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, read with Guideline M on the use of the crop. The particulars being that he struck the horse NATIVE TONGUE more than 12 times with his crop in Race 7, at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse on 17 October 2021.
